MTM Awards are proud to support Brim & Bows Evening Tea Fundraiser 2019 by Bristol Black Carers. This is annual charity event held at the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel, now in its fourth year. An evening of entertainment by Young Artistes of the prestigious Studio 7 Academy Bristol.
Bristol Black Carers provides culturally-appropriate support and services to the Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) carers in Bristol. Through the work they strive to reduce enduring health and social care inequalities.
BBC carries out extensive outreach work within BME communities to identify needs; and work with a range of diverse communities and different faith and cultural groups.
The outreach work enables the organisation to meet the individual needs of service users and ensure they have the support they need.
The development work also helps the group to identify needs that aren’t being met, help community groups to develop appropriate services, and to give support to isolated Black Carers in the community.
We will provide two raffle tickets for the MTM Glittering Gala Award Evening for the Brim & Bows Charity Tea Evening,and we thank Bristol Black carers for naming one of the Tables for the evening as the MTM Magazine Table.
